FC Dallas have won their second game in a row! After an exciting 4-1 victory against the San Jose Earthquakes last Saturday, Dallas returned to the field last night and defeated the top team in the Eastern Conference, the Philadelphia Union in a close 1-0 match.

Dallas Goalkeeper Maarten Paes now has 7 cleansheets for the season. Captain Matt Hedges has been a part of all 7 cleansheets. Defenders Marco Farfan and Jose Martinez have been a part of 6 of them.

Jesus Ferreira scored the lone goal, his 15th of the season, inching him closer to first place in the Golden Boot race. Austin FC's Sebastian Driussi is the current leader with 17 goals, while Ferreira now shares second place with Brandon Vazquez of FC Cincinnati.

Paul Arriola earned his fourth assist of the year, while new signing Sebastian Lletget, who played the ball to Arriola in the sequence, had his third start for Dallas. Since Dallas acquired Lletget, they've won twice and tied once.

FC Dallas will travel to Nashville to face Nashville SC on Sunday the 21st. Unfortunately, Ferreira will be unavailable for the match due to yellow card accumulation.
