FC Dallas takes to the road for the second week of the season. They'll face eastern conference side, the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium. Like Dallas, the Revolution has only played one game and earned a single point so far.

Their 2-2 draw against the Portland Timbers saw Brandon Bye and Sebastian Lletget score for the Revolution, while goals by Dairon Asprilla and Yimmi Chara kept the Timbers leveled with them.

FC Dallas conceded a late goal in their first game to end the match in a 1-1 tie against Toronto FC. Jader Obrian scored the opening goal with an assist by newcomer Paul Arriola. Unfortunately Toronto's Jonathan Osorio snatched one back just before the end of the first half.

Will Alan Velasco make his debut-

Velasco finally arrived in Frisco after their opening game. He hasn't spent a lot of time with his new club in person and with this being an away game played on artificial grass, it's very possible that Dallas fans will have to wait another week to see the young winger in action.

The Return of Szabolcs Schon-

Szabolcs Schon, also known as the Hungarian cowboy, has been noticeably absent. There was a rumor that he was injured but Dallas did not post anything about the issue. He wasn't seen in the 18 however, so the story about him being injured seems likely. Today Dallas posted a picture (see the one at the top of this article) of him joining his teammates on the road.

Schon was an important piece in the Dallas attack last season. Although he didn't score any goals for the Toros, he recorded 6 assists in 24 appearances. Towards the end of the 2021 season however, he dropped off. In the last 11 games, he only had one start.

His return will strengthen the bench and give Nico Estevez a legitimate attacking option to come in late in the game and push the team offensively.

Possible Starting Eleven-

Changes this early in the season seem unlikely, especially since Dallas didn't lose against Toronto. Obrian scored the first goal of the season for the Toros, Arriola recorded his first assist in a Dallas shirt. Jesus Ferreira almost got his first goal of the season and Paxton Pomykal had a fantastic game bossing around the midfield. Defensively Dallas did well, they just an unfortunate lapse that resulted in a goal.

Predicted Result-

Dallas isn't a great road team. Maybe Estevez will have a better road record as their coach but with this being their first game on the road in season, I am going to guess a 2-0 loss. Dallas concedes in the first half and chases the game only to concede a second goal in the final minutes.

Who to Consider for Fantasy-

For anyone who is playing MLS Fantasy and has good feelings for Dallas in this game, here are three players to consider adding to your team, Jesus Ferreira, Paul Arriola, and Jader Obrian.

Ferreira is hungry this year. He's still looking for his first goal of the season and after having one denied in the last game, he should be especially motivated this week.

Arriola did well in his match for the Toros and had the assist on Obrian's goal. With two teammates hungry to score, he could earn another assist or two this weekend.

Obrian can score. His major flaw that irritates Dallas supporters to no end is his constant need to try and win a freekick. If he can stay on his feet, then he's a good piece to have.

Game Time-

FC Dallas play against the Revolution at 12:30 tomorrow at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough Massachusetts.
