Nick Holmberg lives in Denver, CO and is the Colorado Rapids correspondent for the MLS NOW podcast. A love that began at the age of 4, he went on to play soccer for the Olympic Development Program at age 13 and eventually to captain the Western Carolina University’s club team.
Growing up in North Carolina he followed the closest MLS team which was DC United and where he later became a season ticket holder for 3 years at the rocking RFK Stadium. After moving to Colorado in 2016 he’s taken to rooting for his local team which he follows closely. The highlight of his correspondent career was interviewing the legendary Marcelo Balboa.
When he’s not obsessing over club and international soccer he is busy raising his daughter with his beautiful wife Megan. They enjoy hiking, skiing and being outside with their dog Axel as much as possible.
