Tomorrow FC Dallas will end their two game home stretch with a 4th of July match against the Vancouver Whitecaps. After a 2-1 win against the New England Revolution last weekend, Luchi will look to build on that success and earn another home win before heading out on the road for three matches.

The lineup should remain relatively unchanged from the New England game. Pepi was the star of the last match with two goals and has out performed Franco Jara, so he should continue to start.
Freddy Vargas failed to lock down the left wing spot and Szabolcs Schon has just returned from the Euros so neither of them are likely to start.Ryan Hollingshead played on the left wing in the recent win. Even when he's played as a fullback, he's been up the field, providing the offense with more options.
Johnny Nelson should keep his starting spot. Dallas has had issues with their defense recently. Nkosi Tafari and Justin Che are both still new to Major League Soccer and if they start, he can provide somewhat of a veteran presence and help Tafari if he gets overwhelmed.
Tafari and Bressan should continue to be the anchor the box. Matt Hedges and Jose Martinez are both listed as out on the latest injury report, leaving Tafari and Just Che as the last natural centerbacks on the team to pair with Bressan. Che, altough technically a centerback, is the best option at rightback at the moment so he shouldn't lose his spot unless he's injured or Dallas brings in a rightback during the Summer transfer window. His only competition is Eddie Munjoma, Emi Twumasi, and Hollingshead. Munjoma has disappeared from the lineup in recent games, Twumasi wasn't able to take the starting spot from Munjoma, so he's unlikely to start. Hollingshead is not great on the right side. On the left he's one of Dallas' most consistent players, plus he'll most likely be playing on the wing. Until Dallas finds a permanent solution, Che appears to be Luchi's best choice for the role.
Bryan Acosta and Facundo Quignon should continue their partnership in the midfield. They'll be the first line of defense and can aid the attack.
Jesus Ferreira provided a much needed creative spark in the recent victory. He assisted on Pepi's first goal, a play that showcased his vision and game reading ability.
The one change that Luchi should make is at right wing. Jader Obrian, after scoring twice in the beginning of the season, has disappeared. He hasn't done anything recently to help the club and has become known to flop, which is now costing Dallas as the referees are weary to make calls in Dallas' favor if Obrian is fouled.
Paxton Pomykal has come off the bench in the last two games, he seems to be uninjured so he should return to the starting lineup and replace Obrian. The left side is already locked down with Hollingshead and Ferreira has made the creative midfielder role his own. Due to Obrian's current form, Pomykal should be able to take that starting spot away from him.

This game should be a win for Dallas. The victory against New England and the adventage of playing at home should give them the confidence and fight that they've missed this season. My prediction for the scoreline is 3-0 win for Dallas. Pepi continues scoring, Hollingshead adds another to his tally this year, and Ferreira earns his first.
The game will be held at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas tomorrow night at 7:30pm.
