FC Dallas will face new Texas club Austin FC tomorrow night at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas at 7:30PM. The match will be their first meeting in Major League Soccer. They've played each other once in preseason in a 3-3 draw that went into penalties, where Dallas eventually won 4-2. Like Dallas, Austin hasn't had the best start this season. They currently sit at 12th in the Western Conference with just one point separating them from the Vancouver Whitecaps who sit last in the Western Conference. Their current record is 4-4-8. They've scored 13 goals which ties them with Miama FC for the least amount of goals scored in the league. They've allowed 18 goals, making them seventh in the league with the least amount goals against. (https://www.mlssoccer.com/stats/clubs/)
Austin Player to Watch-
Austin's designated player Tomas Pochettino had a breakout game against the Houston Dynamo in their match last Wednesday. He scored two of Austin's three goals with Cecilio Dominguez, Austin's current top scorer with four goals, picking up Austin's third and eventual winner. His play earned him a spot in MLS' "Team of the Week". Pochettino will be one for the Dallas defense to keep an eye on. He should be buzzing after his side's close win and will need to be contained.
FC Dallas' Possible Lineup-

Very little should change with the lineup. On the road, Luchi Gonzalez prefers his club to play conservatively, which is one of the presumed reasons on why Edwin Cerrillo started against the Seattle Sounders, despite Andres Ricaurte being available since he served his one game suspension (due to yellow accuumulation) against Sporting Kansas City last Saturday. Ricaurte should replace Cerrillo in the starting lineup. He's presence should help to connect the defense with the offense. This should also allow Jesus Ferreira to stay higher in the field which will give Pepi support in the opposing half.
Dallas is on a three game unbeaten run and with a match at home, they should continue it. All of their loses have come on the road. At home they've yet to lose this season. The addition of a healthy Pomykal and Ferreira and Schon finally easing into the squad has made Dallas look like a new team. This game should be a win for Dallas. I am going to guess a 3-1 win. A defensive error will keep them from getting a cleansheet. Goal scorers will be Pepi, Ferreira, and Ricaurte. Tweet your score prediction and who you believe will score, tag @M_Isbell95.
