FC Dallas announced tonight that two of their players have been called up to their respective national teams. Szabolcs Schon will join Hungary, while Bryan Acosta will join Honduras. Both countries will be competing for a spot in next year's FIFA World Cup. Dallas reported that the players would be available for the upcoming match against Austin FC, held this Sunday (August 29th) at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas. Hungary and Honduras have games scheduled from September 2nd to September 8th. That schedule means that they will miss Dallas' September 4th game against Real Salt Lake in Utah. Their availability for Dallas' September 11th game against the San Jose Earhquakes is unknown.

Schon and Acosta might not be the only Dallas players departing for the World Cup Qualifiers. Ricardo Pepi is expected to chose between playing for the United States or Mexico. He could receive a call-up to either team.

Some have already reported that Pepi has chosen to play for the USMNT. The player himself has not made an official announcement.
