FC Dallas Add Bernard Kamungo to First Team

FC Dallas have announced the signing of Bernard Kamungo to the first team. He is under contract for Dallas until 2025, with two option years after. (https://www.fcdallas.com/news/fc-dallas-signs-midfielder-bernard-kamungo)


Kamungo has been with Dallas' second team, North Texas Soccer Club since 2021. In MLS Next Pro, he has 13 goals and 3 assists in 21 games. He's started all but one game so far this season. (https://www.mlsnextpro.com/players/bernard-kamungo/stats/)


Kamungo, who was born in Tanzania, will not occupy an international slot, has he became a U.S citizen earlier this year. NTSC's general manager Matt Denny also became a U.S citizen at the same ceremony.
